Losi JrxT shocks?

Post by ELF-BMX »

Is it normal for JrxT rear springs to hit forward facing suspension link(top) when in action

They are really close but shouldn’t rub. If you have a pic it’s helpful. Too much rear camber, incorrect rear shock tower, incorrect lower shock mounts etc can all effect the clearance

Yep wrong shock tower. Some holes may line up, basically you need to lay the shocks in as far as you can

Wrong tower for the 5 link. The tower you have is from the JRX-Pro. It works great with H arms but for the 5 link they used a different, much narrower tower. I don’t have a pic on my phone of the stock one but I do have a pic of one we made for them. You get the idea. See how far in the shock mounting holes are...

You may have a set of holes you can use that will help, try the innermost set and see if it clears

your upper link is on upsidedown. note it has 3 ribs going front to rear. put the corner without the rib down and in to give more clearance.
probably not enough to correct for widely spaced shocks, but it does help.
