I actually acquired Gene's RC12i from Curtis last year. It was not his personal race car but his promotional/marketing car. It is on display at Hobby Action Raceway in Chandler, AZ.

Some of you know that my Dad has a room in his home devoted to Team Associated RC history. I shot quite a few pictures one evening with the intention of doing something with them, but it never went anywhere. He expressed an interest in putting them...

This is the original RC10 that was hand-crafted by Curtis Husting. I shot the pictures 4/5/08 at Gene Husting's home in Huntington Beach, CA.

I will later combine these images with photo-by-photo commentary by Gene and possibly Curtis and save...

I've decided to attempt the build of Gene Husting's First RC10. Since I do not have the skills to hand form a chassis, the basis of the build will be a Classic RC10 Re-Release. My goal is to use as many Classic parts as possible, while staying true...
