Guys,

I did search the forums and it seemed like most people agree that the original RC10 nose has a 30° angle? I also saw a couple threads that mention a 20° or 25° nose angle?

I'm looking into having a custom carbon fiber chassis made but want to be 100% sure I request the proper angle to copy a TQ10 chassis.

Also, does anyone have the drawings/measurements/pattern for a TQ10 graphite chassis?

standard rc10 buggy, gold tub or graphite was always 30 degrees.

Can anyone tell me what the kick-up angel on the Ultima chassis?

I bought my T Ultima used and it looks like the owner never put the big screws that attach the top plate with the front bulkhead so the front was a bit bent. I can bend it so the top...

yup, 20 degrees is correct. The ultima guys use to put the thick associated washers between the chassis and the front of the bulkhead to get the 30 degrees. They also used the longer 8-32 counter sunk screws with a nut on the top of the bulkhead to...

Hi All,
Looking to source some carbon fibre for a vintage chassis rebuild, but I would like a kick up on the front for the caster.
Not too worried about the exact angle as it would be a vintage racer but don't want to 3D printing a wedge style...

DOES ANY ONE HAVE A PIC or a close up of the tq10 chassis, i know its graphite but does it look like fiberglass almost w/o the graphite weave and such. i was looking at assomans tq10 and in my box i have an rc10 that looks exactly like it with black...

I don't think the TQ10 ever came with a rear motor guard, but black motor plate on a 6-gear tranny, that's unique!

Alright so my good friend was nice enough to pick this car up for me because I was almost positive it was a TQ10 chassis and I’ve been on the hunt for one for a really long time now. It’s not in my hands yet but I do have the listing pics....

If I was choosing between a TQ10 and an RC10 Graphite based upon the actual kit, I personally think the RC10 Graphite has the nicer chassis.

Here is my newest project.
To fit andys trailarms to the ae carbon chassis.
I did an plate out of 3mm carbon and will fit the arms on and then the plate to the chassisi.
More pics will follow up.

Excellent job and great carftmanship, especially on the steering rack! Just a slight remark from a purist: this is a Graphite chassis, noty a TQ10 which is different (squared corners and no weave in the carbon plate). Good luck on the tracks!

Someone......tipped me off about an auction that had in the last pic what appeared to be an un-used early TQ10 chassis....low and behold, Jason was on the money. Spotless :shock: utterly amazing since I had never seen a new one until Eddie posted...
