Rear bulkhead is ARP but I think the chassis is maybe homemade.

Funny I just posted a pic of that rear bulkhead a little while ago in another thread and now yours is only the second one I've ever seen.

Thanks guys, I believe ARP is correct. They were a local company and track owner, so I knew them well. I have seen several in my time. This will go on the bay tonight, as I just don't have room for it (it is pretty cool however

So was Advanced Racing Products a different company than Advanced Racing Technology?

This is a mid motor conversion from Advanced Racing. Haven't seen another one of these on the board so I thought I would post the build. Need to verify the date of this conversion in the old rcca ads but I am thinking late eighties. Maybe someone...

Honestly, most of my cars don't have the mod. I don't run them very hard or often.

But in the event that I decided to, I have several old bearings that can be sacrificed.

Back in the late 80's I converted my RC10 to mid motor using the Advanced Racing setup. I eventually converted back, but have absolutely no idea what i did with the parts. When Derrick and Fred offered reproduction parts I was psyched!

The bulkhead...

Made a few of the planned installations/upgrades; Silver shocks, Litesink motor mount, Plastic battery straps (for now) and custom Bellcrank thumbscrews/nuts. Not sure whether or not to keep the litesink blue. Black and Silver would bet a better...

Hello, Some of you have probably seen the ARP mid motor kit that I reproduced. This kit has inspired me to make my own chassis design. This one is an 8 cell design with custom parts. I designed the wing mounts, wing, bumper, and chassis with battery...

Some how I never saw this post Phin. Wow that car in the add is shockingly similar. The future versions of this chassis will be for Lipo cells and will have braces from the front of the nose that connect to the chassis for added front end stability.

I guess many of you know the brand Fanton Racing.It was a brushed motor brand, but they made also aluminium option parts for XX and b2.

Does anyone know the story as to what happened to ERP endurance racing products? I used to be sponsored by them back in the day...1990-'92.

I ran their matched batterys and had one of their motor zappers. Just curious what bacame of them.
