unknown old 1/12th body

unknown old 1/12th body

At the Pro10 Classic website I found picture of this old 1/12th body. The owner don´t know this body or brand, I also have no clue what it could be but looks interesting. Someone has seen this before?

With that engine stack, I'd guess it's a Chapparral, but have idea who made it.

It is a parma mclaren body. I have a new one around here some where. I cant rember the model name but here is a link that shos the real car in parma advert.

That's what I was thinking, McLaren Mk 6b actually Penske/Donuhue version but couldn't find the exact picture to corroborate.

Thanks for the link. Yes McLaren also was my first impression but I couldn´t find a picture what was showing this body.

If it's a Parma body it's super old. I don't see it in their catalog.

And that catalogue is from 1979. The question is when Parma did begin making 1/12th bodies.

Not sure when they started making RC bodies... I'll see if I can get a Parma expert to reply in this thread.
