Just finished putting togeather my Avante Re re.

Got this for my B Day present. I saw it on rc tech here for a cheap price and was 2/3 built only. So all i had to do was finish the front end. Easy i thought but 8hrs to do. Gee what a complicated buggy.

The owner painted the graphite edges in blue than sealed the carbon fiber with CA glue.

This pic is not good but i still have electrics to install.

Yes this will be runner once i get another shell, wing & undertray.

fantastic mark, there is a fair bit to these avante's alright. built one back in 88 and it was scary :lol: looks like a very nice re-re there, body off pic's soon hey 8)

Neat car! The complexity is what makes them so cool to me. Nice find and, er..build! :mrgreen:

Looks good Mark...I saw this deal and was tempted too. If you want to get rid of the super glue and painted edges, abit of soaking in a seal tub of acetone would get rid of it.

Yes the driver is included just not painted yet. Even got the bonus wheels !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks fore the tip Chris. I do like it though.

Will post more pics with electrics and runner body set when they arrive.
