LOSI XX CR KINWALD BOX ART
This is what I've been up to,for the last few days.
Just waiting for the yellow to fully cure before I lay down the white/blue drips.
Then,it's on to the window frames-thanks for the tips on those,by the way guys.
I've been dreading this paint job,'cause I know full well that if I screwed it up,I can't get another X-Cellerator body!
All good,though.
That 'Trinity' decal on the wing is a repro me and a friend had done and they didn't turn out too well.
I've been meaning to get some repros of the Kinwald decal sheet I have done for ages, but I never got around to it.
I've taken a mint colour,32 bit scan of it,so I'll go ahead and cut up the origional sheet and I'll get some repros done using the scan.

Re: LOSI XX CR KINWALD BOX ART
Here's the decal sheet I have.
Hope I can get some good quality copies made from the scan.
I'm dreading cutting that decal sheet!
It's my precious...
This project has been keeping me sane, over the last few days.
I painted the wheel discs the correct yellow, too.
If anyone has some blue front springs that they want to get rid of...?
I have enough paint to box art my JRX2 body now, too.

Re: LOSI XX CR KINWALD BOX ART
Just the window frames to go,now.
Bummed that the decal sheet only has two 'Novak' decals on it-I'll have to fish out a third.
Also,I trimmed the front of the body a *little* too much for the 'Team Kinwald' decal, but I couldn't get it through the shock tower, unless I trimmed it...
Anyways,here's the photos...

OOPS...
The 13x3 'Dirtinator' motor is a nice finishing touch.

Got the window frames done!
Man,I was super scared to do 'em.Not like I could go buy another body and decal sheet if I screwed it up!
I used Pactra masking film-the blank stuff.Did the trick way better than masking tape could have done.
They need a few *tiny* touch ups,but I'm happy with it.
