Below is an example of what I mean done freehand so not perfect but you get the idea,

If you are really keen on getting the gaps perfect use 2 exacto blades taped together with a spacer in between (to the width of your choice).

I like that carbon look.
I am not that worried about perfection but I am going to paint my cosmo body with window frames and we will see how that goes. I will post pics when I do it.

Okay, I am not good with an exacto and tape and have tried applying liquid mask but am not confident that will come out great either. I have an rc10 b3 and am very reluctant to try my hand at masking the windows as I know it will come out like crap....

Finally got her painted, The Thunder tiger stickers did come with window masks. I use the masks for the side windows and used the window sticker for the front, for some reason the front window mask was cut funny. A note the front window sticker came...

This is the only forum I've visited where links open in the same window so you must use the back button to return to RC10talk.
Am I missing that option somewhere in user control?
I much prefer links to open in a new window.

I'm looking for suggestions from you veterans with regard to the netting used for the windows on replicas, what are you guys using for something that looks like the box art RC10 body, where the netting is straight up/down and side to side?

on the original RC10 they used window netting from a super champ/Hotshot. As you can see by the detail its twisted and looks smoking rad....

I did a forum search for tinted windows and surprisingly, no useful results appeared. How do you do a smoke window tint on a lexan body?

Hi, can anyone advise the best method for achieving clean looking window frames.
I see many bodies that look really professional with a neat black or coloured boarder to the windows, but I always struggle with this.
