I think this is the first ad for the RC12E. I found it in the November 1978 issue of Race Car World magazine. My first RC car was a 12E that I pre-ordered in the summer of 1978 before they were released.

Just wondering if any of you have any input on the ideal weight and balance for an RC10?

I am supposing that the graphite chassis cars will be lighter with a different front to rear balance.

What is the ideal balance for either an aluminum tub...

My shortcourse converted 10T is happy around 59% rear. My T2 pan buggy likes 65%. Its all driver preference. Dont worry about normal . Run what works best for you. You can use other peoples setup as a starting point but in the end its what like...

My brain says shorter arm cars would require a shorter chassis and longer arm cars would require a longer chassis to get the weight transfer balance right.

I'm new here, so yeah. Just putting that out there. But anyway, my goal is simple. I am about to purchase an X Y table for my drillpress so I will essentially have a 3 axis Milling machine to machine my own plastic, aluminum and carbon fiber parts....
