you are in bad need of andys bodies: you're almost obliged to get it repro-ed when you can get your hands on 1

2 different versions of the wide front arms are cool too.
I'd change a small thing if it is possible: swapping the rear-arms between the top picture and the one below.
that'd make the short arm version look more old-skool ( I say "look" as I have no idea if it is true)

Jason, those chassis's look killer. It makes me cringe to think how I cut down a brand new chassis to make my sprint car chassis

Jason, those look fantastic! Has anyone ever driven these conversions? Do they flex a lot?

I would imagine the graphite plates carry the same qualities as all other types of similar plates. The injection molded chassis have the vertical flange incorporated into them to reduce the amount of chassis flex and increase stiffness. I would say there probably is not much more than any other chassis that was made back then.

you ain't kiddin'.

but, the hard part is done, with accumulating all of the andy's pieces. the 3 molded chassis' are gonna have mip sp1/sp3 trannys. i have to steal one of them from my a&l car, but i have a nip 6 gear trans to put in it's place. the 2 graphite chassis' i drilled for stealths, so one will get a standard 2.25 trans, and the other is gonna get an mip change box (unless i find another one, then they both have one.

i'm hoping one day to find another molded pro race chassis to build with rear a-arms. that way i have one of each like the other ones. and at the time i didn't want it, but i kind wish i would've kept my molded truck chassis instead of selling it. maybe i'll try to get another one one day.

what front axles do u use on these scr8p, they seem to need a hole in them? my axle bag doesnt even have 1?

you need the old syle steel inline axles (i cant remeber the part number - 6218?). the hex ones, not the newer round ones (6220).

i have a bag full of these, but it seems like they need hole to pass the pin through, is that the 6218 model?
