RC10 World w/ Custom parts
This was my first build inspired by RC10Talk. It was the car I decided I wanted after discovering this forum.
This was my first post.
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1223&start=0
After a lot of reading and enjoying the builds in the site I thought the only way to step it up was to make my own custom parts.
Today was nice and sunny outside so I decided to take some new pics. This is the result.
Hope you like it.

sweet sweet car, cant wait to see it painted and finished. u should do a blue real flame technique on it, that would totally set it off.

Re: RC10 World w/ Custom parts
I actually had that in mind and thought about getting one on the bay but they all have skulls. My plan now might be to get a T Mirage on it. So I might have to send him an e-mail.mikedealer wrote:sweet sweet car, cant wait to see it painted and finished. u should do a blue real flame technique on it, that would totally set it off.

Re: RC10 World w/ Custom parts
yup, very nice! can we get a close up on the motor plate? I want to get a better idea of what you used and how it's put together.
I was thinking it would be cool to have a build of the year thread...this one would be nominated for sure.

Re: RC10 World w/ Custom parts
looks like a piece of kydex with (2) 90 degree bends, and an aluminum plate that has been milled. I'd like to know a little more about the motor plate. milling machined? anodized?
sweet car!

Re: RC10 World w/ Custom parts
The motor plate is a GPM part made for the RC10 with Stealth tranny. I got 2 of them 3 years ago directly from their website but they stop making them. Like jwscab mentioned above I made a brace out of kindex to anchor the plate to the chassis. I also made one out of aluminum but kind of like the kindex better.

Re: RC10 World w/ Custom parts
Super Clean build. I really like the look of the blue accents against the graphite. Trick parts too.
