The Chrome looks nice. Someone took some time to do that. The tub can be straightened with ruining the finish. Am I wrong? Good luck with build it should look awesome when you are done.

i kno lol its ok..
You can fix that! Just put it in a large vice with some wood and rags to protect the chassis, and bend it back straight. A 2x4 against the inside of the chassis works very well for that. Check how straight it is on a sheet of glass after, keep tweaking until it's flat.
Be Careful!
I would leave it tweaked, because if you notice it is chrome plated, and this plating is not flexible. Therefore the chrome would crack and or chip off, ruining the finish, if you tried to correct the bend it has. At this point just live with it or find a cheap normal gold anodized car to run.
Plus you may find you will need to run thread taps through the threaded holes, since the threads are now chromed over. This too could ruin your chrome plate finish.
I wish you luck.

Oh crap, that's actual chrome plate? I thought it was polished aluminum?
If that's plate, like Ruffy said, don't bend it! If it's polished, go for it!

I know of a guy that will plate that chassis for ya in 24K gold. Pretty cheap - maybe $50 or so (I think). The only trick is you need to chrome plate it first before the gold can be applied (not sure why, but that's what he said). I was going to...
This is a great site and I would like to get some info regarding RC10 Gold Pan Runner builds. I have a A Stamp chassis and would like to use the same B4 Hub Set Up with B44 CVAs. Most of the builds that I see here in the forum shows a B4 Hub/B44 CVA...

This is looking very nice, you have a cool clean gold runner. :D
After digging through all my stuff I thought I'd build a runner out of left over parts that I wouldn't otherwise use, so, I might as well put them to use. I'm toying between the idea of running a wide arm car with modern tires, or keeping with the...

Thanks all, the more I look at it the more I like the small wing.
I just got the wheel wing nuts in the mail yesterday as they are still available. The 3 pointed ones aren't as far as I'm aware. The small wings were on backorder.
Does anyone know the history on the RC10 Chrome Chassis (See photo I found on current Ebay auction). When was it released, did it come from Team Associated, Any other background info?
Thanks, Limestang

love to see a runner. Makes me feel like a kid again....
I bought this not too long ago to mess around with. Looks like the individual started dying the white parts black and then didn't finish :? Dispite that and a few missing parts, It's in pretty decent shape for it's age. I've procured some missing...

I started the fun buggy body project this week, it's the Parma version bug with a 2 color pactra base & vinyls I made. Simple retro style design. It wasn't suppose to be so German flag colors looking, but I'll take it. Using on-road posts I have...
