My TRX1 project

I started this build in 2000 and recently pulled it out of it's storage box. I built it from scratch with no instructions, just knowledge I had from my Blue Eagle (tranny exploded view) that I purchased in 1990. I bought the parts from Traxxas and eBay. I always wanted a TRX1, but I didn't have the money as a teenager (all my money went to my BE) .

I admit it is not a true TRX1 because the whole rear end is from a TRX3. I felt this was a better option because of the TRX3's more upright/stacked tranny moves the weight of the rear end toward the center of the car.

TRX3 rear end, caster blocks, steering blocks/spindles
A&L BB steering
A&L slipper clutch
MIP shiny CVDs
RPM heavy duty ball cups
AE ball joints
Lunsford titanium tie rods
Tamiya heat sink
...and two unpainted Dahm's Torpedo bodies.
