2010 JRXT Vonats buildup....
Got this truck a few months back from Steve (prince steve). It will be the base for my 2010 Vonats stadium truck entry. I was looking for something with an RPM rear suspension and LRM tranny with slipper. This showed up and had to have it. I will need to go through the shocks. A few turnbuckles will need replacement too. Some new bearings and new rubber and my McAllister Toyota extra cab will be going on it. Oh, and a set of aluminum wheels too...Should be fun!

Worn from use. It doesn't take long for it to get down into the fiberglass filler on these chassis. The rest of the chassis looks good, so it isn't high on my worry list.
My '08 VONATS JRX Pro got into the white after 3 days worth of running.

Re: 2010 JRXT Vonats buildup....
Some updates on this truck.
Paint will fly this week, still undecided on what to do there. It is a Mr. Lexan T body mounted as low as I could get it and keep it level front to rear.
The shocks that came on it were in sad shape, so I put some on it in better shape. Added a ProSE front tower with the .6" shocks. That was all I had, figure it would suffice. It still needs electronics as well.
I had the RPM rear arms on it, but they were sooo flexible that when you compress the rear suspension it was doing weird things to my toe in. It went fron -3 to +1 degrees! So on with the H arms. The front arms are the RPM JRX2 Strong arms. They are wider than stock, but not as wide as the RPM JRXT arms. So with those, the front and rear track is very close. HPI deep offset wheels front and rear.
I will get some more pics up after I get some color on it.

seeing all these awesome vintage racers is bad for my wallet!
i just got a jrx2, now i want a jrxt.
personally i like the look of the older graphite cars better than todays molded chassis cars.

I like that alot!! If I was making up a new shell design I wouldn't have put pink & red together... but that works really well!
