Re: Graphite chassis repair?

depending on how meticulous you are, you can repair this somewhat close to invisible, but you will need a donor part that has unidirectional fibers, file/drill/sand the slots nice and uniform, and cut out 'slugs' that fit with a small amount of air gap in them. take some crystal clear epoxy resin an...

Re: Any interest in the original style short RC10 rear arms?

I think collectively speaking, there are a few things the people here would like to see:

rear arm mounts

Re: Any interest in the original style short RC10 rear arms?

man.....now i'm going to have to buy a whole bunch of parts to build a dozen buggies with my order..... seriously, those two parts I see as being your best sellers, besides the klien replacements, as they are the hardest parts to locate new or in great shape(bulkhead), OR, are frequently repla...

Re: Associated RC10 Stealth Mounting Jig/Template

they are #4-40 screws, so a close fit hole is a #32 drill, or somewhat looser will be 1/8". Countersink is 82 degrees.

BTW, how much for the jig?

a b4 cvd might just be about right. I think they are about 1/4" longer than the rc10/b2/b3

Re: Bleaching dyed black parts? Can it be done?

about the only way you can get it to go away is to literally strip off the thin layer that has been dyed. This will require a TON of work, and will result in a physically smaller part. If you were able to find a solvent for nylon, you might be able to get a large portion removed quickly, but it will...

Re: First post, 1st car

The general consensus would be to go brushless and lipo, if you have nothing already, it's an excellent way to start. the brushless systems from hobbywing are supposed to be good, xerun and ezrun. Likewise turnigy batteries are good. radios, I think anything that is 2.4Ghz, and in your price range, ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2017 ** - Winner - Asso_man!

My 'Faux' Worlds car I put together as kind of an 'all white' version. Updated a bit from the original thread, including the piece de' resistance, the detonator worlds I was lucky enough to obtain from Mr. Jeff Harris, including the matching stand. Thanks!!! This was put together well before the re-...

Re: JRX Pro Rebuild

Matt nailed pretty much everything.

I feel the most important part of making the car tougher/last longer is definitely the slipper. The center diff gear is the weak point, so adding some protection by means of a slipper makes it very reliable.

Re: RC Car Action archive online - Text format available

I have most of them from 88 to 92, so if you are looking for a specific vendor's ad, let me know I can dig through if you know a rough time frame or a specific car or something in the mag to help narrow down.

Re: Rc10ds question

Excellent question. That would be pretty cool to see a 4wd ds. I would say there needs to be some custom work on the front end to fit the trans.
