The Restoration,

A full dissemble and check every component from damage or prone failures, when things where made to last, what a beautiful kit, 4x4 and 3 shock absorbers, there's not a single video of this Rc racing... Pity. But here we are in this restoration adventure....

Beautiful shock absorbers, quite easy to put together, just waiting for spare parts then first drive test..... A friend of mine is going to help me to restore the body, it's not going to be perfect but I want to respect its character !

Hi guys,

This is the new member to the vintage collection, NOS Graupner Kyosho Rowdy Baja Kit 4962, no Dif. It arrived with Radio and tons of spare parts but no motor:(, Its going to be a queen shelf, but I will try to find a motor, I really would like to see it running once.

Last Saturday I went to the rc store to buy a new glow plug and fuel line, I wasn't look for anything in particular, The owner is an old guy, a little bit grumpy, for some reason he start a simple chat, asking me why do I need a glow plug, he told that no-one is buying nitro now, just electric, then...

So what did I do? Cancelled all appointments for today, need to dig in to this yellow happiness....

All vintage Rc cars got a nice history, but this type of unexpected finds are in the top. Just enjoy them.

Work continues, this damn tires lettering, it looks pretty easy on YouTube right? Well is not, extremely hard!! But it looks really cool, I just use a toothpick an patience.

So the Kyosho Mint Las Vegas restoration ends here, I will run a few tanks then she will be a shelf queen.

So Rowdy its going forward, the new powder coated cage and front bumper. its looking really nice.

I was so lucky to find a Brand New OS Max .21SE-B, perfect match for Rowdy, carb and muffler placement. So project is moving up, I got to wait Two weeks al least to get this new engine to Bogota.....

Well, Project Fantom 20 Exp 3P is finished, lots of work on the body, but the results are quite amazing, one of my favorite cars
