Re: I broke a ball stud :(
Great tip Reg! Also, if you make the hole a little larger just use some CA glue on the threads when you go to install the new ballstud.

Re: Identifying Vintage Auto Glass
If you say it looks like a Bel-Air windshield it could be a Impala front glass. Pictures and measurements will definitely help though.

Finally painted it!
I've had it masked and prepped for over a year now but finally painted it today! My RC10T that in my opinion is a beast finally got a painted shell today. My 4 year old son is now the proud new owner of this fine machine and extremely proud of the body, he picked the colors. He went to bed early thi...

Re: A&L and 9T brushless
I agree with what Reggie said. Besides, putting 1 1/2 horsepower through a vintage A&L gearbox is kind of crazy .

Re: No more mechanical speed controls !!
I agree. Stuff being cheap now is really good for newcomers, sticker shock isn't as bad. That's what use to make this a "hobby" way back when was the initial cost IMO.

Yeah, I just don't dig that extra long tower on the front .
EvilAsh - Do you have any measurements of your shock tower? Maybe a picture of it next to a stock one?
Thanks guys!

Re: Daddeo's A&L build!
Okay, made a little more progress but was busy today. Doing test fitting right now and everything is working out good except I don't have a front tower yet . After everything is fabricated, fitted, and tweaked then the nose, motorplate, and a few misc. items will be painted. Going to use some ...

TZona - Thanks!
shirochanwrx - The kydex rear bumper came like that with the kit. The rear geometry was done this way to optimize the suspension for rough tracks.

Re: Team Associated SC10 4X4
I for one have no problem with it being belt drive, very cool! The one thing I know of outside of RC that a belt drive sucks is a full size 4X4 transfer case ...

Re: My dog "Dolby" and my RC!
I love it when my dogs chase my RC's. Our previous dogs which were a Bulldog and full blooded Rottweiler loved to go after them. The only problem was my rotty "Oulage" could just about put a whole 1/10 scale buggy in his mouth .
Good looking dogs you have there mrlexan!

Re: Daddeo's A&L build!
Thanks guys! :D I made a little more progress this evening. Finished the motorplate enough for test fit and also trimmed a rear bulkhead. I never thought a nylon bulkhead could be so tedious of a task. I was thinking, "cut-off wheel on dremel, wham-bam-thank-you mam!" but not quite so cut ...

Brake fluid will clean but it also makes the lexan brittle.
