Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I've had these wheels for years, but have never found out anything about them.
You can make them as wide as monster trucks or as skinny as buggy fronts by mixing them.
They are for 2" tires.
Any idea who made them?

Re: RC10DS short WB
That looks great. Could you post a pic of the front axle setup? I would like to run hex wheels on mine.

Re: Vintage A Stamp RC10 A-arms breaking axles on original c
Check the slots in the cups on the outdrive and the stub axle. Ive had them get so worn that the axle will bind and break.

Re: Jammin' Jay's 6 Gear Rebuild
I haven't raced a 6 gear car in over 20 years, but I always used blue locktite to set the rings. Some other guys used CA glue. I always thought the set screws would unbalance the gear.

Re: Gold pan tribute project
Looks like a nice car. I think those aluminum wheels were made by Duratrax.

Re: Associated full newsletter
Those are balloons on the shocks. Associated had regular balloons with the associated logo printed on them and sold them as dust covers.
I can't remember the original price but someone is asking $12.00 for these on Ebay

Re: Associated full newsletter
I just noticed this, but does the car on the back cover have double thick shock towers? They look like carbon fiber or some other composite. They are definitely different form the prototype car.

Associated full newsletter
I found this site a few days ago and it got me to dig out my old RC10 again after I stopped racing back in 96.
I found this old newsletter that Associated sent me around 1987. I searched here and couldn't find any info about it. Were there any other newsletters, or was this just a one off thing?
