...chassis, shocks and transmission) were brought to a local anodiser. I went for two different colors. Wanna take a guess? ... So that rules out gold I'd think. That transmission is going to be one of a kind! I'm going to say black chassis and tranny (to match the JC plate) and 80's Kyosho red for...

Re: Got's me a Tamiya Rough Rider "1979"

The Rough Rider is a model of the early Bel Ray Bullet. Pretty sure it's kind of an amalgam of a couple different Funco Cars/Drivers from the era. TC has a good post http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66465 http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d125/Badboy_207/Bob%20Maynard%20Buggy/Skrm...

Copy that! Otherwise those sway bars would come off much easier.

Anyone notice all these national pros running the demo races of late and popping ball cups left and right?

Re: mip reissue??? any info??

Eustace has repeatedly said that it wasn't economically feasible to rere the kit... His brand is much better if the "Legend" stays just that. The Moore family still owns MIP right? And they've kept it in the black, making aftermarket parts for the worlds fastest cars since 1980 or so righ...

Carefull of that front bumper too. I had a whitened one like that crack in two when I gently picked it up by the front end once. I think that when they plastic gets brittle after a big historic hit, it can be a lethal combo.

Re: "Holy Sway Bars Batman!" ~DMAT

Guaranteed the owner of that car had an SRB (or at least knew someone with one), and thought if it works for Sand Scorcher, it's gotta be a good idea. I'd find me some proper length and correct (ie knurled hex 4-40) hardware and fix the length issues for sure. Nice that your got reverse! That...

Re: RC10 CE Set Up and Race Discussion

I have some other rear blocks but they are either unmarked or have been ground down. I have a ton of front castor blocks so I'll have to get started on trying to identify what is what. Too bad I don't have an angle finder but think I have something to figure it out. Do you measure from the bottom h...

Re: Radio mounted stopwatch

Really? I've never heard of that! I just bought a used Spectrum DX2s, so when it gets here I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip. I have a DX2s and there is a timer you can set to count up or count down from a pre-programmed point, operated by a button right under your thumb behind your trigger fin...
