Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Anyone know the name of the condition, or sickness, that compels one to build the wheels first, with every model? https://i.imgur.com/CFTap5r.jpg Can't quit doing this. Cart before the horse syndrome? IDK but I did the same thing and I'm not even using the wheels right now. They're just so cool loo...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Not gunna lie I kinda like how the ivory parts go with the silver pan kinda wish i had the silver shocks though. Making those shocks match the chassis is pretty easy. Just have to be able to commit! :D I might do that with the older set of shocks I have if I decide to go to longer front arms and sh...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Looks cherry. Did you purchase the silver pan separately? What ESC/motor/servo are you going with? This is going to be used in the Silvercan Class so it's a Tamiya Sport Tuned, Novak GT7, and a Spektrum S6040 servo. This is stuff I pulled off of cars I'm currently not running. Also I've adapted the...

Re: The Diamond One's Dirt Oval Ultima
This is a replica I am doing using all vintage parts....it's replicating an Ultima the Diamond 💎 One raced in the 80's....the chassis was a beat up pile I restored, along with the TrackMaster tranny...it will be a slow process, but here's the start 20240514_150703.jpg I like that transmission, such...

Re: Rear Cab Body for AE RC10 B6 / B7 - FINALLY
They said they are in the works, they actually emailed me to confirm I knew the B6.4 body would only work on the 6.4 not any of the early chassis.RichieRich wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 7:01 pm Hey Guys! I ordered one of these for my B7 last week and it was shipped today. I hope they make a body for the 6.3 too.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
"They" go by lots of names. This is the main pic they put up when they introduced their "anodized" chassis. Anyone see an issue (outside of the "anodizing")? https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/441046478_416708941174243_2720720121038564663_n.jpg?stp=cp6_...

Re: RC10 40th Anniversary tracking thread
It's probably just me but I can't imagine buying a limited edition anniversary kit like this and not cracking it open to inspect the contents. :D For those who can resist the temptation, you have a lot more self-control than me. My favorite RC10 video so far: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EzS...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
That is what it's all about. $379 is a bargain to be able to build your childhood kit It's a shame we'll never get that chance from Horizon/Losi as it seems they're dead set on making RTR kits and discontinuing things a year later. Not to say I don't enjoy the Mini JRX2/T but both of those are alre...

It's just a quick release handle, I don't see why it needs a hyped up announcement.

Re: Rear Cab Body for AE RC10 B6 / B7 - FINALLY
That new body does look MUCH better. There's definitely a Kyosho vibe going on there. Of course, the design appeals to us but I'd bet the younger racers will laugh and say it looks like grandpa's buggy. "Where's the moon hub caps and white wall tires?" To be honest just about everyo...
