Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Installing: Start one side in the groove. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to push / squeeze down the ring until the rest of it is in the groove.

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Even though it was taken down, that's enough confirmation for me that it's eventually happening. That was it. AE was waiting for the ReRe 10T subform to be created before they would put them on sale. Clear cause and effect. I'm order #246xxx. Dang, they're making a bunch of these!

There could be some inexpensive gearboxes that periodically pop up. That shaft and the slipper assembly are in:

Re: Looking for a 9601 top shaft
Do you need a brand new top shaft, or just a usable top shaft?

Re: Project Hyper Hornet
In addition to having springs that are too soft, the tiny front shocks are horrible leakers. A front shock upgrade is needed. I have a spare set that are the right length and seem like a natural fit. . 1000011051.jpg . However stiffer shocks = more shock tower deflection. The tweaked shock tower I p...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
Now that AE is catching on, MIP needs to get with it too and rerelease what everyone wants... not just a new screwdriver
I'm sure they could have a ReRe section too.

I would ALWAYS use that for opening boxes, just because I could!

1 blade, ok. 2 blades? Don't even think about it.

Re: Franken Dead Pool DS-ish Car, restomod version
I forgot the cutouts in the chassis sidewalls to let me use the short wheelbase position, but some minor trimming took care of that. Now the wheelbase is a good match for the body. With the wide 7222 front axles installed, so is the front track width. . 1000011043.jpg . It's moving along nicely now....

Re: Franken Dead Pool DS-ish Car, restomod version
You should be able to move the rear arm mounts forward to shorten the wheelbase. Looks like you're in long wheelbase setup right now. I hadn't even noticed that was where I had the rear arm mounts. Thanks for spotting it. 👍 I'm also noticing the front is a bit narrow. A set of GT long front axles i...

Re: Franken Dead Pool DS-ish Car, restomod version
So that Futaba ESC that went up in smoke was 100% my fault. Reverse polarity is a bad thing. Oops. That's ok though, I really don't like the single speed reverse and wanted Lipo protection. The DS chassis setup is working pretty well... . 1000011036.jpg . ... until I see that it gives me too long of...
