Re: Request~ Kinwald and the Tenth Technology Predator???

I believe it was at the '96 Winterchamps. In '95 Kinwald raced a yokomo and at the '96 Nats he won with the prototype XX4.
I do have that RCCA issue somewhere. I'll look for it.

Re: Ever seen a Ryuz???

RNO for some reason the pms I sent you seem to not have reached. Please send any additional scans and info on the Ryuz and other competition FF specials to troylos@hol.gr(that also stands for anyone else who has info-I greatly appreciate it).Race coverage of races where FF buggies raced would be awe...

Re: Ever seen a Ryuz???

It is indeed a mugen. Ryuz was a shop in Japan (no longer in business). They produced parts for various cars, a bit like RPS was doing in the States. Japanese Mugen 'works' drivers were running Ryuz parts. I recall the Ryuz shop made once a FWD 2wd buggy that was posting faster lap times than Hirosa...

Hi All,
Anybody out there who could tell me what are the dimensions (width) of the original RPS stickers, like the ones on Jr. world champ car?
Thanks

Keyz,
many thanks for posting all those scans.
if I may ask, can you scan at a higher res. next time. The Racer magazine scans are hard to read.
Thx

Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=

My name : Arno Age : 31 Picked up my first r/c magazine back in ’89. From that day forward I drove my parents nuts constantly asking for a Tamiya Monster Beetle. Later that year I went to see a race. The hook was set. With my personal driving abilities being ‘limited’, I finally figured out some yea...

Re: Radio Control Model Cars 1991 Off-Road IFMAR World, Detroit

Hey Toaster, Unfortunately no photo shots of Masami's (or Cliff Lett's winning car for that matter) '91 Detroit Yokomo were allowed without the body on. The only close up pictures that I have seen of the '91 prototype Yokomo's is Cliff Lett's shown on this thread (Cedric is the man) and in a DVD of...

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread

As a few members on the board are into BMX, I thought you would enjoy those scans from a ’94 RCCA issue. Jon Anderson is an ex-pro BMX rider who worked at Losi in the ‘90s. His name is not as famous as Francis or Kinwald but he was (still is) a very fast SoCal driver, fast enough to be considered by...

Re: 1989 IFMAR Edition Masami Yokomo Dogfighter

Hi All, This is my first post on this board. To answer Asso_Man! question, it is definitely not Hirosaka's car (there are a few differences) but probably one of the 50 replicas hand-built by Yokomo and sold in Japan back in late '89 to celebrate Hirosaka's World title. Note the car was sold with the...
