This was cut down to have the rpm worlds rear. I’m going to see if I can bring it back to around stock condition
I have this severely chopped up jrx2 chassis I got in a lot a few months that I shouldn't have bothered with as most of the stuff in it was trashed. I can only assume it was some ridiculous oval setup.

Also got a bunch of stuff from ST including a JRXT body I forgot to take a pic of.

That chassis is very restorable!

That chassis will likely be used for some experimental weirdness.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

After my B3, my second favorite rear motor AE is the B5 - very short lived and hard to find now.

But that never stopped us hobbyists!

Sourced all new plastics for a B5 rear motor car, and a fresh DR10 kit. I know I could have bough the RB10 and swapped the chassis, but I wouldn't have built the car without disassembling it first. This way, I am building the whole thing. I already have a freshly painted body for it as well. Most, if not all the alloy bits are going to be sent out and 'purpled' up. I already have purple big bore shock bodies, I had a couple dozen of those done a year ago or so. I may go black shocks with purple bits too - love that look on my T5GT.

Got a pile of Tamiya parts from Nitro Hobbies, mostly Blackfoot parts.

And while I don't "need" all of them, I thought some spares was a good idea (considering that I now have two).

I’m glad to have these. One of those little that can be hard to get around.

U835! They are finally back in stock at Schumacher, so if you have a Cougar 2, Bosscat, Cougar/Cat/Storm 2000, or Mission FT (and probably a bunch of others kits I am forgetting), now is the chance to stock up on shock seals.

I also got a 4WD conversion kit for when I inevitably get bored with FWD, an extra set of Cougar 2000 wheels, a replacement KF2 body that looks different and may not work :? , and finally some touring car shock bits that will be used to lower whichever vintage buggy I choose to take to the carpet oval next. I am thinking Top Cat...

Parts from the printer.

Wheel nut covers for the KW and trailers.

Front bulkhead and suspension arms for the 934 project (2 complete sets). I've oversized the bearing bores by 0.1mm this time so I hope the bearings fit without too much fuss.

It's time to get busy making chassis plate and turned bar parts. :D

Trackmaster chassis from FTW.
TM OVAL CAR 2.jpg
Got so excited, I threw the bling trans in there within five minutes, just to find out it doesn't fit. :( The PO had widened the holes in the chassis by 1mm out and I had not noticed. Just need to come up with a plan now.

Ah dang! They just ovaled out the holes? Wonder if you could shave the inner arm mounts. I mean, we could always mess with the chassis holes too if you want.

More precisely, they hacked the chassis holes oval (it mounts at the arm holes, not at the gearbox holes). The chassis would seem like the last thing to change, but TBH, I don't want to modify this trans at all. The inner arm mounts would be the easiest, but there isn't a lot of meat there to begin with. I am going to have to bother you for a shock tower anyway (the one in pic is printed), and don't know about the front tower yet, so we can work it all out later. :D
