Hey all.
Here I will present you a resto I make since october. It is detailed in a french forum, so sorry for the few people who knows it yet!
This car were my first racing RC car, and is was great for me to rebuilt it. Stillnot finished, but it is running now.

Here is the starting point:

Actual situation (6 monthes later):

I have rebuilt it all except the tranny.
It is quite expensive and some parts are difficult to find in france. Usually, I find part in the US and I have to pay for freight...too bad.
New RPM everywere in the suspension elements (except the rear suspension mounts and front bulkhead).
Original shocks are rebuilt
New rear shock tower, rear bulkhead, battery cup (I wait for a velcro strap from Pure-tech), used motor guard but nice condition, Kimbrough servo saver, HPI rims, Andy's front bumper, original front shock strut (used) and and front shocks, etc etc.

New tires, electronic equipement installed:

I have found a Reedy Esprit Stock that I have tried first, and an associated stock motor.
I have never run std motors, but for now, it is only to make it run a few, vintage use.
The radio is my old Sanwa Gemini (1st generation), but servo is KO FET 1006 and ESC an LRP ICS. These 2 last items are OK, but not in the right times...not enought vintage. I will look for something more suitable.

A picture now of the finished body, vintage colors also (I am not very good at painting, so I used many stickers to help).
You have now the complete view of the situation.

I made my first run 2 weeks ago, and it was fery funny for me to drive again after more than 10 years.
Specially to drive this car, that Is my first racing car. In fact, the only original elements of my 20 years old kit are:
- the chassis
- intenal mechanism of 6-Gear
- ball bearings
All the rest, have been changed for this rebuilt.

I will now look for few parts that would make me back in the old good time.

My best RC10 ever in racing was:
- graphite chassis
- long front shocks
- Losi steering
- Velcros battery strap
- Stealth, of course
- Raborn axles and A-arms
- Full titanium turnbuckles and other suspension axles
- carbon fiber shock struts
I surely miss some.
What a shame I have sold this car to enter on-road class...

Thx for your reactions.
Now, i wonder the usual question for a car like the RC10: when do we have to stop the evolution of the car ?
As all parts exists in several version with different manufacturers, or eeven in asso, is the car finished ? if you are everytime looking for improvement, then you can never stop to modify you RC10!!!
I have yet some changes in the head (and in order!!)...what a pleasure... i will keep you informed!

I have finally recieved a pure tech velcro strap. I made a special order to the company, thx to RC10 talk special topic.
Dwayne wasn't so enthousiast to produce and ship only one strap to france, but finally I got a present and the exact product I wanted.
Good deal and thx to Pure tech.

It starts to be similar to my old car owned in the last heightees...great!
