Has Anyone done a tekin Mid Motor Truck Conversion????

I've tried the search feature, but can't seem to find anything, has anyone done a tekin mid motor conversion using a 10T??
If so, can someone post up a link??
They remind me of the XFactory X-6.

Freddy,
Tekin made a truck version of the mid motor chassis kit. I never saw one built though. I've only seen the buggy version (I owned 2). I'd love to find a truck kit for sale.

Besides the arms and the shock towers, what else is different from the buggy kit and the truck kit??
Can the 10T shock towers be modded to fit the Tekin Buggy Kit??
Can the 10T arms be used with the Tekin Buggy Conversion???
Am I asking too many questions??

yes, but you can't use the active lnik rear suspension setup.

just the rears. what you need for the tekin chassis is a complete 10t front end... including the steering bellcranks, a stealth trans, rear arm mounts, dogbones/cvd's, hub carriers, rear shocks, and misc. hardware.

Hi,
I'm sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I have a Tekin mid buggy in great condition and had been thinking on doing it as a truck and wanted to know the kit differences.
Based on the above, it appears the only things that were different between the truck kit and buggy were the rear arms and rear shock tower, but if I don't want to use the active camber suspension (which I don't) then I can use standard 10T rear arms which just leaves the shock tower.
If its possible that someone has a tower they could give me measurements for, I can get my mate to make them out of CF or G10.
Anyone able to help at all?

My co worker 3D prints parts. Are there any plans for this? Are there folks 3D printing this already? I've got two rere 10T's and I'd love to build one Tekin!

It appears Jake misread the thread topic. I don't see anything Tekin on the build above ^
I have a new Tekin truck kit and a bag of new hop-ups to complete it. I may start a build thread later on.

No misreading bud just throwing it out there that you can still do a mid T if wanted Tekin or not
