When i first saw these images i was hooked. Taken from the May 92 'Radio Control Car Action' magazine's article on the Schumacher cougar2. Although I saw few of these on the track back in the day,after seeing these pics i knew i needed to have one. In my opinion still the hottest looking car ever made. Big call i know, or maybe this was just one of the best paint schemes anyone could have done on this car. Anyway these pics make this car look HOT!









I even did my best to try and recreate the same paint job on my Team car-even tracking down many of the very same decals too!

I am also a great schumacher Cougar lover .
I think it is still the best looking buggy ever , i just rebuilt my Carbon cougar with some
new parts.

Blue compound front tyres? It'll understeer straight off the first corner Seriously, as I posted on the other thread, this is probably the best build I've ever seen, simply stunning. Awesome work mate.

BTW, what wing mount is that Jeroen?

What is this fabulous chassis and also what front shock tower ?!
This lower position at the front makes a look between top cat and cougar...and also very agressive...what a bad cat!

i've been on the lookout for a cougar 2 works car since i signed up on ebay in '04

I agree on the original post but have to say that the works article was even better for me. That is what made me get a works car. To this day I am the only person that has raced one here as far as I know. No one bought them back then. Glad I still have mine including the original article!!!

Are you going to do that paint scheme. It would sure look good on that chassis. all that CF looks so good

And that's the same paint scheme i saw on bormac's Cougar2works!

OMG! Im going to cry......that is so nice I loved my cougar 2's back in the day, i think i bought 3 of them. From day 1, first 2wd i had that just clicked! Wow are they hard to find now

You think? My rc car graveyard has at least 6 or more Cougars and Cougar2s..... probably closer to 10....

Course, I was hooked on them in the pre-Bormac days, and picked up all the el cheapos on eBay...
