what so good about Dynotech Klein arms??

what so good about Dynotech Klein arms?? i went to the website and i think they list at $9 each . i think there the same size as rc10t arms, right?? why not just buy rpm rc10t arms? just wonder if i should get a pair..

They're the same as the RPM Worlds front arms, which are getting harder to find these days. It's a machined delrin reproduction of these

I really like the idea behind them but I can't get over the price. 9 bucks each seems too expensive and then you would still have to buy a new front bulkhead, shock tower, shocks, hub carriers, cvds, bearings, and so on. I figure it would cost over 100 bucks by the time you're all said and done. Maybe someday.

Building a car like the "What's old is new" thread is a labor of love. Not cheap but within reach compared to other hobbies with rare parts/pieces/etc. You'd be surprised as to what you can find cheap. I got my RPM world's front shock tower for $2.

do you mean a difference between the dynotech arms compared to the rpm worlds arms? or the difference between a stock rc10 compared to the one built with these arms to run b4 rims? well, i'll just answer both.... i guess.

to me, the dynotech arms feel lighter, although i never thought of weighing them to find out. they're also more ridged compared to the rpm arms.

as for my car compared to a stock rc10, i really don't know. i've only raced offroad maybe 3 times since i started racing (1991), and only one of them was with a rc10 (in that same year). so, i really can't give you any good feedback about it. i've only had my car at one race, the 08 v-nats, and i think my car was the only one there that was setup with this configuration. i finished 3rd in the b-main. but, if i'd had more practice/setup time, i might have done a little better........ who knows. maybe not. the top 2 cars at that race where pretty much stock rc10's, though.

They look like they'd never break, try racing a B44 and tell me the dynotech arms aren't good value

Thanks for the input guys. I really would like to build a buggy with wider arms. I just want to do my homework and think the project through.
