My name is David and I am new here. Let me try and sum this up quickly. While trying to find info on some T4s for my kids I found out that there was still interest in the old RC10. I went and dug out my old Dually Conversion and since it had been sitting for 15 plus years the front tires dried out and cracked. So I was wondering if there is anything that would work, even just enough so that it can sit back on the shelf and look decent.
The ones I need are for the front. They were the two piece chrome, but I changed the outside to some aluminum. The back tires are proline slicks but they are OK.
Yes this is one of the TMS kits.I will get some pictures without the body. I think I titled this post wrong, it should have been tire size. I have the Original dually wheels, but I took them off. I was going for more of dragster dually look, so I put wheels discs on the rear with slicks and then the centerline type wheel in front. Glad you like the paint. I had a friend at work do all the line work with a sharpie, then I taped it off and shot it with spray cans.
I have a set of TQ20's that I just tried to mount on some wheels. They seam like they don't want to go on though. What rim size is correct for the TQ20's?

I just got a brand new never assembled 10t at a garage sale. The only problem is the guy took everything out of the bags. Luckily everything was there except one of the front wheel nuts. The guy (the one who knows his stuff) at the hobby store...

It's a 5-40 size nut. Like aconsola said, you can also use the nylon nuts and make it fit. Either way works well.
I have some vintage 3 spoke wheels winging their way across to the UK for me (thanks sharkman), I want to dye them black and put in some shiney stainless screws.
Can anyone tell me what sizes they are so that I can get some screws ready? Preferable...

I picked up a T4FT earlier today and dug a bit into it. I found the front wheels were held on with plastic nuts. From my quick research, the front threads should have been 4-40...

When I tighten the nuts on aluminum axles, I don't really even hold the nut driver tight. I just spin it with my finger tips. When it snugs up, I stop.
i've four different sets of front wheels for original classic gold pans, and one set of 30 year old bearings. they still spin like crazy but with Avid's great prices on bearings, i can afford a buck each bearing to get kitted up with some newer...
