Funco Stinger MK2

I was tangling around with other cars and not getting where I wanted last thursday night.
Then the Stinger caught my eye. It had been sitting in a corner for a while and didn't get much attention sofar.
I decided it would take my mind of the others so I could get a better night-rest... 2 hours later it was half apart on the floor but I had a big grin on my face when I finally got to bed.

I've worked on it a little more over the past days, but it actually all came together pretty easy.
For the electric conversion I used a motormount from an old schoolproject. You can see how the belt now runs over the topshaft; using an optima mid belt guide.

The body is mr lexans bolink funco single seater, tires came from another member (sorry, forgot who) and the wheels were a lucky find but rip-off yesterday in a LHS

I love the paint. Very clean build too- I really like the looks of a chain/belt drive.
The tires look a little big for my taste, but if you plan on swampin' with it then it should work just fine. ;)

With the original tires the body looks huge, I would prefer 1/8th tires or maybe some tall2.0 crawler tires... but I had these tires already and no other purpose for them... so weighing up econmy against looks this sis the best outcome for now.

the original stinger tires and wheels went straight on my ghostrider and look right at home. I'll put a picture up later today
