I thought the Thunder Tiger BXII rims were the same offset as the originals and are basically B3 wheels. They aren't. Not even close. They are very similar to the B4 offset. If they aren't the same, they are very close. I had to double check to be sure I got the right ones but I did. Are the BXII rims the same as B3 rims?

What other options are there for use with a stock width front end that doesn't use wide axles? It seems that I have narrowed it down to my only option being the JC Racing wheels but they only offer front wheels in the standard old narrow width and not the modern wide fronts which doesn't make me happy. It's workable but not optimal. The Duratrax rims are junk so they aren't an option.

The reason I asked is because when my JC wheels came in, I had some NIP Boca Bearings that are labeled 3/16 X 3/8 unflanged but they seemed too big to fit in the wheel. I figured they were just mislabled so I ordered a set of Duratrax 3/16 X 3/8 unflanged bearings. Now those too are too big for the wheel. Heres a couple of pics...

Any ideas?

today I decided to put the hubs and cva's from my kyosho rb5 onto my rc10 worlds car...they fit perfect!!!!! all I did was open the whole a little for the hinge pin to go through...Bad thing is that the kyosho parts are so expensive! kyosho cvd's are $40 compared to AE $30..I had the parts on hand thats why I used them and I run kyosho 10th buggies

best thisng is using the hex instead of the pin,no stripped out wheels.. I added a green spacer on the hub,can be tuned to run the hubs forward or aft...Another good thing which was most important to me is that the cvd fits in the outdrive perfectly in the middle..Going to the track today to try it out guys

Muffin, what's the track width of that compared to stock? Nice find.

Hairy, looks good, what track you taking it to? Looks like OC or WC? Let me know how it works. I am working on some stuff myself to use modern up front and NOT loose track width...

I went to ocrc tonite, worked really good,Need more steering...I want to convert to an updated front end also..I also think the panther tires I have up front cause a bit of push...Ryan Cav's dad liked it!!!! He gave it a once over, said my front was too springy...

I was fighting the steering problem myself until recently. After reading through a number of posts, I swapped out my stock 5 degree castor blocks, for a set of B4 30 degree. looking back, that was a bit much, and caused some bump steer(needed to add 4-40 nut under the ball), but I have plenty of steering now.

If you mounted B4 30* caster blocks in their normal orientation then I think you now have 35* of caster. The b4 chassis has 25* of kick up, the 30* blocks actually tilt rearward and the RC10 nose has 30* kick up.

I read that somewhere else. I might end up going to a 20 degree in the future.
