Paint on the outside?

What is the preferred method for repainting a body on the outside? If you use regular Lexan paint is there a way to get a glossy appearance or are you stuck with matte? Is there another type of paint that will flex and still provide decent shine?

If you're using a air brush you can use Creatix paints. They come in a wide variety of finishes. I believe Parma has paint that can be used on the outside as well as Tamiya.

Does Creatix make fascolor for parma? I was in a michael's craft store (I'm ashamed of myself for admitting that :| ) and they look very similar, same bottles, and some info on the back. Has anyone used creatix for painting a new body?

I haven't yet used the createx stuff, but if you google it you will come up with a lot of threads where it was discussed and the consensus seems to bee that it is the same and works well.

I just painted a body on the outside with Tamiya pant. The white is glossy but I havn't done the 2nd color (blue) and 3rd (red) yet to see if is glossy as well. I would think it would be because the white is but if it isn't I'll just clear coat it. Its for a shelf queen so Im not worried about durability.

I know that creatix paints are pretty flexible so using it on the outside should be okay.
