I found 4 sets of these while cleaning out my hobby room. Obviously Schumacher but I've got no idea how old. I bought a YZ10 off a local auction site and these must of come with it. Are they worth keeping?
Good answer...I left myself open for that one...maybe I should put them on the buy/sell section for silly money and let someone beat me down..some have plastic inserts..
The rear tires on this RC10 are all but bald. Are they worth hanging onto? I know the rims will be reusable but what about the tires? Does anyone keep them just cause the are original?

To answer your question, I wouldn't keep the rear tires you have on the car in the pic, they are pretty far gone. Even if you were going to run the car, those probably wouldn't get you through the grass in the yard.
I bought my son (11) the RC10B6D Club Racer. My dad bought me my first RC10 around the same age. So the plan is to take him to the track to race in the club division. I would like to build my old gold pan to keep up in this class as well and have...
This was a problem with my vintage rc-10 and now I am seeing this problem with my B4 after installing a 10.5. When I hit the straight away the front end lifts a bit and makes it difficult to control. I know I could adjust the slipper, but then I...

The amount of up travel in your front shocks (or droop) is a factor too, if you are running 1.02's like I think you are and have less than 6 internal limiters then you are causing a lot more rear weight transfer than you might want by letting the...
With my 3000mah NiMh batteries, I feel like I'm pushing the temperature limits of my brushed motors. That's the main reason I don't move up to higher rated batteries. Every time I search up heat sinks, I come across a bunch of heat sinks with fans...

Without going through a full battery, I did a spot check of the temperatures. My son running the 7 cell was hottest at 223 F. Father in law was 209 F. Mine was 190 F. Hmm, BITD with NiCd I would bring a crew packs with me to do back to back runs. Of...
This site is awesome I just thought I'd mention that

...but everything you would want is discontinued ... even though they list them in their online catalog... :(
It appears they do business by drop-shipping from Horizon or Great Planes (Tower Hobbies).
I did use the telephone just to confirm, it...

When I called I had a list of part numbers and just went from top to bottom... I'm guessing the person I talked with just used Tower's or Horizon's website while I was on the phone: No, discontinued, out of stock until the end of March,...
Is it worth going brushless w/lipo's using an RC10T3?
A lot of videos I see show stripped gears, flipping backwards because of too much power.
I imagine it's been answered before on here... Sorry!

While brushless (sensored) is better than brushed, I've been able to get a supply of brand new motor brushes, a couple of lightly used modern brushed speed controls, and even a couple of nice brushed motors for absolutely free from people who had...
I can hear the steam coming out of Scr8p's ears
I just got this in the mail today. a proformance kit missing a couple pieces, but it has the rare body. It also came with a new built jrx-T and a nearly complete JRX-2 kit. It looks like the...

Give back to the vintage community and let Jay repro it! Even if it was to be destroyed in the process you would end up with shell as good as if not better than the original. Jay's shells are the best!
