kit #6011 champ car

I have a nib #6011 champ car . Instead of all white parts , they came in black . Does anyone know why associated did that.

Why did they switch to black or why did they keep the #'s the same. The plastic was switched to make there cars look more finished as far as the numbering as far as i know thats why its a crap shoot with the sealed kits you never know what your going to get

That sucks. I HATE black parts. Makes them look "toyish"! I got lucky with my NIB Champ. Its an early one with 6 gear and white parts.
