Hello,

Are the later blue anodized shocks "hard-coated" or "ptfe impregnated" like the early grey "Team" shocks?

Thanks,

David

it's just regular anodizing.

all anodizing is a hard coat. that is done threw a chemical and electrical process that produces a alumimun nitrate coating on the suface if the part. the color is added after the the anodizing process.

Hmm maybe the reason why the orange shocks from my old RC10 graphite exhibited so much wear from the pistons, is because they lack the PTFE-impregnation that the grey shocks have.
