I picked up a new in box vintage 10t and was surprised to open the box to ALL black plastics. It looks almost like a t2 with a t1 chassis. Of course the manual doesn't match. Did they happen to change the trannsmission gearing too?

I think that was right before the T2 came out, it was the same with the GT's.

this is one reason...... even if i could afford it, i don't think i'd buy a SNIB kit. atleast not a CE stealth kit, or any truck after the 7001. i would most likely want to open it up to build it. if i did, and saw a bunch of black parts, i'd be friggin' pissed off.

Exactly!!!!!!!!! Other than the original gold pan kit, these are the main ones that pop up on ebay too.
