Ebay Purchases!!!!!

Pass it on to everyone you know!

If you are planning on buying from an eBay seller, make sure to search for their item on Microsoft Live so that eBay and Microsoft will pay 25% of the tab.

eBay just launched their holiday marketing campaign, which is heavily weighted towards coupons and Microsoft CashBack, following a trend on the Internet this holiday season.

The nice thing about eBay's coupon program is that sellers don't have to discount their product, eBay, PayPal and Microsoft are paying the discounts.

* 30% off of an eBay purchase of $100 saves the consumer $30 (Through Microsoft Live's CashBack), but the seller gets the full $100.
* Sure eBay is buying customers, but eBay sellers will benefit. At least through Christmas.

I wonder if this is a function of the economy or ebay's daily fleecing of its users?

Well, SleazeBay's numbers are dropping daily with all the garbage they're doing. This is the user's chance to fleece them and MicroSux back for a few bucks without holding the sellers accountable for the discount. I personally will never shop at SleazeBay again, so I can only pass this info on to those that do. It won't take but a quick Google search to find that what's been posted here is legitimate.

Happy trading. 8)

There's a $2400/year, $200/transaction limit but that's not exactly a detourant ;) I know a few guys that have already reached their limit and they say it works exactly as it should. The cash back into your paypal account isn't instant, it takes some time for that to come around. I think one of the cash backs is but don't quote me on that.

How do you make sure you are getting the cashback before you buy?

Its pretty sad when you want to get at least 100.00 for something, but you have to up the price 25.00 just to pay for fees to eHATE, and STEELpal. Something is rotten in San Jose, and the buyers are feeling it.

Thank goodness these fellows keep this site up and going....

Here's what my partner had to say:
Here is a link to ebay's cashback info page - http://pages.ebay.com/cashbackoffer/terms.html?afepn=5335869999&campid=5335869999&PID=1225267&_trksid=m37

However, I have heard that ebay has been having a lot of technical problems integrating this feature (big shocker!), so don't be surprised if they have pulled their links from live.com until the get things fixed. I tested live.com by searching "xbox" and "Wii" and found no ebay links.

There is more info at the links below:

You can also Google - ebay cashback - for more info.
