Well, If I am going to the West Nats, I need an RC10....

Seller claims its the stealth trans in it, and I cant tell if the axles are universals...

Checking my facts, the original 6011 Kit in 1990 had an original 6 gear trans, and the 1992 release of the 6011 had the stealth, right?.. Any thoughts on this setup before I buy it? And its NOT on ebay. Comes with some extras...

Looks like the wrong front wheels and shock tower... but the books look right

Thanks everyone..

Gregg

well, it might be a 6011 box, but the car isn't. that's one of the original 6 gear gold tubs (6010, 6012, 6016, 6020).

one of the other guys could tell you more about productin dates and such but I have seen those wheels in the front quite frequently. The font shock tower looks like the one I have in the Champ edition book. It looks like its clean and complete but do you not have pictures without the body? Another question is how much is he selling it for? If its a good price you should buy it.

Thanks, I kept looking at the bean holes in the wheels, and stock length arms, and was......
thinking, Hummm...that doesn't look like the box

I really want a Genny CE Stealth Runner w/box...

Seller gave me their phone #
Has not yet replied to additional photo requests of the bottom and with the top off.

..... Wow, that almost sounds exciting!!

$100.00 US, for a complete runner shouldnt be too bad, I guess...but I need more photos before I drive 120 miles to pick it up.

6 gears transmission is one of the most interesting set up in those days. It is sort of one the verge of working and non-working. Setup is critical and hard to get it work well. Reasonably long lasting but never perfect. :D

Like Scr8p said, that is NOT a CE car! Depending on what kind of electronics are in it I would probably pass on it at $100 and a 150 mile trip. Thats too much and its not the car you REALLY want anyway!

BTW, You can see through the back window that it doesn't have a stealth.

i think you should wait too. Based on both front and back arms, from shock towers and the rims, it looks like a goldpan to me. A snapshot w/o the body would help a lot. Goldpans rock, but it doesn't seem like it's what you are looking for.

Don't settle...you'll find the right one soon enough :D
