Another Rc10 family restoration

This is my dads original rc-10. He tried getting it runing this past summer but found that it didn't perform as it used to. the slight flat spots on the tires and lack of oil in the shocks certainly contributed to that.
I swiped the car from him for a complete overhaul. This is what I started with:

20 years of grime and some creative wiring

I completely tore the car down, and cleaned it. I put fresh seals in the shocks(I hate those stupid internal snap rings), freshened up the motor and simplified the wiring.
I also swapped out the black losi/dubro steering turnbuckles(they will find there way to a losi build) in favor of some original AE to keep everything white.
The stealth retrofit trans is in great shape, looks to only have been run a couple times.
The body is a new release painted in the same scheme as the original, red fade to orange.
The wing is a small proline, about .5" smaller than the AE small wing. All that is left to do is drill a hole for the antenna, and trim the body slightly for suspension clearance.
Cudos to anyone who can spot the problem parts before Scr8p does.

Plus butchered...I mean modified...battery cup and rear bulkhead, shock clamp indexing (looks like all the same side instead of left and right pairs), turnbuckles (or lack thereof), TQ20/70 tires, one Andy's front arm as pointed out by aeiou... I'll guess a few extra holes in the rear tower from the previous ESC mounting arrangement.

Still nice though, a family heirloom.

Very nice, I bet your father won't recognize it, especially when driving! The car obviously started its life as a stock 6-gear chassis with front short arms, then upgraded with wide-track front arms and a Stealth tranny, a classic!!

it's not very nice to pick apart people's cars, even when they tell you to. i'm ashamed of you guys.

oh, and with the wide front end, it should have inline axles and steering blocks.

Tough crowd Thanks for the input, I actually had some questions about the build which you all answered.

The car indeed started out as a short arm 6-gear. The stealth was added, I actually cleaned up the mount holes with a countersink as they had been just drilled with an oversize bit to get the screws to sit lower.
The major problem parts I was referring to are the mis-matched front arms, I actually didn't notice myself until taking them out of the simple green soak to scrub.
I was wondering which front axles I should have used. The car came with trailing axles as it was a short arm car originally. I have a set of white inline blocks, I'm undecided on using the them or keeping it authentic/ as-ran.
All 4 spring clamps have the ridge/lip on the bottom to seat the spring. They are all the same, so all point in the same direction. Did the Ridged clamps come in left/right orientations? The couple spares I have in my parts bin all are the same as what is on the car.
The wing buttons are that way for 2 reasons: that's the way they were on the original battered wing. and 2 I drilled the holes a bit too far back and the buttons don't fit the other way around due to the quick upwards curvature of the wing

i think i'd just keep it the way it is. except, maybe find a matching wide arm for either of the 2 that are on it. i think i have a nice single ae wide arm laying around if you'd want it, but i need to find it first.

Ridged clamps I think started out as being all the same, but by the time the Team Cars/Trucks came out they were molded as left and right. Non-ridged were all the same. All have the part number 6474.

Guys, lay off Anthony, it's family heirloom. I say leave it alone or restore it to exactly the way in which your father built it, mistakes or not. Certainly if I could ever come across my original Brat, RC10, or Mid I would restore them to the way I had them, mistakes and all.
