My YZ834B, with many custom modifications

Well, this is my fully modified runner. well, not 'soooo' modified

What I did was to retain the original suspension concept with minor modification of the geometry (unlike a conversion of 2 shocks to 3 shocks like the RPS, or 4 shocks, etc..). The original suspension did not work at all, mainly the Kydex chassis was way soft and the suspension pivots flex horribly. Not to forget the original shocks leak more oil than I put into it.

With some improvement in material, carbon fiber and FRP upgrades, the suspesion actually works quite well!! Soft tires also help the suspension too. But I never dare to jump this car, too precious

This one has:
FRP chassis, RC10 wing, front lower alloy arms (not in picture), carbon fiber suspension pivots at all corners, custom front and rear roll bars, HPI threaded shocks, modified tamiya F201 rear suspension pivot, Yokomo 05RS turbo motor (flat can lik Trinity midnight), mini bumper, yokomo turnbuckles for the rear suspension rods, carbon fiber rear suspension mount, graphite motor mount, lowered battery mounting bracket (5mm), new yokomo wheels, duratrax tires...
Drives like a dream.

You'd fit right in with the local vintage racers... but then you HAVE to jump also

One thing I was astonished: the number of ball bearings. More than 20 for such a small car....

Congratulations!! Your rig is absolutely fantastic!
You did a lot of work for improving the strength and the looks, and the result is A++!!
I would never use it, at least only as a pan car...

Thanks for the comment. I only use it as a pan car.

I run my shelf cars from time to time.
