RC10 B2 versus B3

Hi guys,

What (if any) is the difference between an RC10 B2 and B3? I've seen similar looking cars for sale and some are described "B2", other "B3". I'm none the wiser..they look identical to me.

Assuming the B2 is the older model ( :D ), is it suitable for vintage racing classes or is it too young?

Cheers,

Ian

there are some differences. but all of the parts are compatible between the two. i know there's a thread on here somewhere that has the info. i think it was a b2 build thread of mrlexan's.

here ya go. read through this thread:

i hope these cars don't become legal for vintage racing for quite some time. being as though the b2 is so similar to the b3 (which isn't all that old).

It will have to be split into classes or undergo a name change all together:

B2 = Vintage Racing
Pre-B2 = Antique Racing :mrgreen:

A B3 is pretty much a beefed up B2, sort of like the way the rc10 world's car is to the team car, but they will drive and handle nearly the same 8)

i saw on another forum that erich had posted on about the v-nats..... someone asked him if the b2 would be legal. his response to that was "maybe next year". if that's the case, i'll be picking up a b3. well..... probably not. but it'll be an option. :wink:

Cheers for the thread link... I did do a search on this topic before posting, but as soon as I put in "B2" or "B3" it told me there were too many returns to show :(

I'm guessing from your comments that the B2 drives a lot better than the alloy tub RC10's then?
