Well, it is a start!!!

Was watching a JRX2 on the bay all week. Looked great and she sent me more pics. I know I spent too much, but I am happy with it. This was a one owner car - took great care of it. Has manual, stickers, older electronics which is a bonus, aluminum spacers on the outdrives, white driveshafts, and more things than I know about yet, lol. I will need to replace all turnbuckles and pins as they are rusted:

While I waited with a heavy heart to win this I noticed she put up an all original JRXT the second after I won the car!!!. Body is not original, but the entire chassis has never been changed to a conversion. Nailed this puppy for $85 with free shipping because it was from the same seller. I am pretty sure I did good on this one!!!:

For around $250 I have two same owner - all original and included electronics roller/runners.
Now, all I need is a damn JRXT body (yeah right) to kind of complete the second build.
What do you all think?

Cool, I will respond to myself.
Anyone know where I can get the JRXT lexan splash/mud guards for the chassis? I am betting that I could make some and almost make the look accurate. Been 20 years since I have seen them in person. Didn't they used to come attached to the body?

nice cars. The only thing I can see wrong are the rear shocks on both.
The dirt sheilds are a separate part from the body, I can get you the part# and a picture tonight.

as far as i remember, the only thing that came with the jrxt body was the number plates in the wheel openings. you can still find those dust shields. i've seen them on ebay quite a few times.

Both rides come with original shocks as well.
So those shields are still floating around then? I would appreciate the part number. I guess I can just look it up at home. Anyone have a set lying around?

The spoiler was under the bed lip as well.

Here is the pic of the a-8111 dirt shields
The spoiler in under the bed.
number panels in the front wheel wells
nearly 20 year old window masks that no longer have any adhesive. I think I could either put them on black paper or put the black paper over the masking frame to scan and then print out fresh masks.
It's a bit bigger than my photo booth

Awe man that hurts to see that - it really does. Above all, the body and dirt shields are the most important things I am after PERIOD!!!
Someday I might find it?!

Just keep looking, It took me over 2 years to get this body. The shields come up more regularly on ebay. You may even get lucky and find one collecting dust in an old hobby shop somewhere for cheap.

The reason for it all, the 2:

What are these shocks:

Old Novak:

Lexan cover!

Tires are pretty darn good:

Different shock tower - might be a Pro?
![Image](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v316/bluej/Vintage%20Losi/DSC05236.jpg)
This might be the original:

Half the wheels are nice:
![Image](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v316/bluej/Vintage%20Losi/DSC05238.jpg)
Needs a new front end:

Misc:
So, please tell me what you all think?! I need some parts as it looks like tall the hinge pins and turnbuckles are rusted on the 2. I think these sat for a while in a wet room or something.
Let em know!

If Losi is your thing, then it looks like you did well. Those are two very decent examples. It looks like someone took pretty good care of their stuff. I think the gold rears look like Option House (Kyosho) bits, but I'm not sure.
Personally, I look at those and see 2 more runners, but have fun with your projects!!
