After being bit by the bug at the Vintage Nationals, I really want to try to get out to some good racing for some photo ops. There is not much of a racing scene in Northern AL, but this is my tentative schedule:
- Sept 20 - Whitehouse Hobbies, Whitehouse, TN
- Oct 9-10 - SIC, Autaugaville, AL -
http://www.southernindoorchampionship.com/Home.html
- Nov 1 - Fall Brawl, Maplesville, AL -

http://www.thesnakepitraceway.com/home.htm
I think bngiles will be there, hopefully some more folks can come out.
Oh and Scr8p, I really need my camera back please sir.

Brandon and anyone else that might care, I might not be able to make this weekend. Gas shot up $1.00, I am NOT exaggerating, over the weekend. It has leveled off and actually come down a hair. We'll see what the weekend brings...... anyone in Nashville experiencing similar prices?

We are still 3.61-3.68 in the Inland Empire, California. Think of I-10 and I-15 in California. Diesel is 4.59

Looks like it is anywhere between 3.65 and 4.09 depending on location.
Bummer you can't make it.... Never know though?
I was hoping you could get some pics of the buggies 12ft off the ground....
Can you say Killer triple?

Whitehouse this weekend, right?
We'll see when the weekend comes.... there was a place around here selling it at $5.35, no kidding.... I paid $3.49 on Thurs. Some of the places are completely out of gas. Costco ran out early Sat and there are very few that have premium.

premium up here is around 4.50 a gallon. sadly... i can remember paying less than a buck for premium in college.
i was flabbergasted about a month ago when a gas station in soho, ny had cheaper gas than what i pay.
we also have 10% sales tax in cook county, but i dunno if that applies to gasoline.
anyhoo.
jay, you should consider the ability to take lots and lots of frames in a very short time and edit them later.
i shot some high action sequential rodeo stuff with a guy about 4 years ago all digital, so i know the technology exists. i remember something about batteries or maybe the storage devices not being able to keep up, but i'd imagine thats better by now.
