Mystery car

Post by arf »

I saw this interesting car on Ebay. The seller doesn't know anything about it. Who made it?

(I didn't post this in the Ebay forums because I don't have the link and can't upload photos there.)

Here is a similar setup that appears to use the 10L front end. Its listed on Ebay as an "AGI Jammer" chassis. I assume the reason for this type of arrangement was to maximize performance it what was then called gearbox class?

That is an interesting car. it has a trackmaster belt transmission. this transmission mounts to the chassis with L-shaped brackets to the suspension mount holes.
Note that the rear end of the chassis plate has only the 4 screw holes, and none of the holes for mounting a traditional transmission. I wonder if this was a one-off/homemade chassis or if trackmaster themselves produced it.

It's Ebay item #140272126057. Think it's gonna go cheap.
