That is a nice looking car! Could you get a better pic of the front end? I would like to see what is going on. Thanks.

Stylish paint job! Could it be I've seen this in the hyperdrive ads long ago, or is it just the decal that makes me think so?

Your car is a very nice example of a Hyperdrive application. Scans section has a post about Hyperdrive systems:

I saw this interesting Bolink oval car on Ebay thought I'd post pix. Seller said it was a prototype.

I didn't win the Bolink either, just downloaded the pix for reference. When 1/10th pan was big here in California I ran Bolinks exclusively against the mighty RC10L's and the occasional Hyperdrive and Corally. They were considered inferior by a lot of the guys and that made it fun to beat people with one. I ran a California Flyer which was equipped with a one piece aluminum rear pod. I think i saw a Gold Edition in the photo of your collection? Unfortunately. as I have commented many times in these forums, I no longer have my old cars. Pan cars are truly beautiful in their simplicity. I always wanted to build a 1/8th scale pan with brushless/lipo power to chase the nitro guys around. In the old photo I posted in Who The Heck Are You you can just make out my car with a Porsche 911 body.
