I ran my truck this Saturday at the VONATs track, and at certain parts of the track it would glitch like crazy, and it would be fine at the other end of the track, I'm running an Airtronics M8 with the Synth. module and switch receiver. I'm using the same thing on my Losi XX and I have no glitching problems at all, any Ideas or suggestions as to what is causing the glitching in my truck??

Not good news for me. I'm just running FM and having problems (started a whole other post about it).

Are there sun flares going on now or something?

It's crazy though, because I'm running the same set up on the Losi and it's nice and glitchy free, I think my problem is running the ESC wire that connect to the Receiver underneath the battery tray, close to the Metal chassis, didn't think of that, and then to add to the problem, I'm running the same wire around the antenna tube mount

What do you guys think, I shouldn't run my ESC wire so close to the chassis??

One of the guys at the track let me borrrow one of his novak glitch filters and it still was glitching.

I know at this point I'm not the one to be diagnosing glitch problems, I can't figure my own out. But, if I had to guess, I would say the quote above is the culprit.

Yeah probably the wire next to the antenna stuffing it up. I run the ESC wire under the centre of the battery all the time with no problems.

For the graphite and aluminum cars, I would suggest keeping all of the wires as far away from the chassis as possible. BITD, sone of the guys ran a Novak stutter stopper which seemed to eliminate their issues...but it looks like you already tried that.

Try using a receiver pack to see if this helps. If the glitching stops, then you know it was due to the receiver not receiving enough power through the ESC's BEC circuit. Just a thought...

This place has a lot of steel , like in the roof suspension etc, right?
Try another spot on the driver stand.

Also, try a set of alkaline batteries in your transmitter, 8 times 1.25 or 8 times 1.5v can make a difference for this type of issues.

Too bad it doesn't look like my LXT will be ready to race next weekend.

thanks for the suggestions guys, I think I found the problem, i was running the ESC wire to the receiver around the antenna tube, I ran the wire up against the shock tower instead and 0 glitching instantly

It's all good in the RC world again.

not all the cars are the same. all cars have a ..."glitch" to overcome every once in a while. check out melvin's thread on the same problem.
