This is a fantastic car, I especially like the alloys matching the Hot Trick parts. Awesome.
However I was wondering, don't vintage cars which aren't RC10's go in the Non-RC10 vintage RC section?
This forum is newish to me to so I could be wrong, but I would like to know where to put my cars.
Cheers
Ed

Thanks for the comments.......... not sure where I should post it. I thought the same thing, but figured Reader's Rides applies to all. I figured someone would correct me if I need to be corrected.

Lovely car!
The only modified fox I ever saw in Belgium while they were still hot, was pretty much entirely home made.
Anyway, just wanted to say I'm delighted to see so much "new" stuff in the vintage sections. I love these not-standard-out-of-the-box versions.
You mentioned a hottrick red prince frog not long ago: did you post pics on that one too?

My Red Prince is still in a box, just parts that need to be assembled. Woobie just finished his, maybe he can post pics of his...... some of you know, but I think that most don't Scott (Woobie) literally is the king of all Hot Trick parts. He has pretty much every HT part or car made and even some doubles. I will pull a close second to him, but will never surpass him when it comes to HT.
Scott? Come out of the HT closest.

You are too kind Jay! Certainly my favorite hop ups of all time, and I am still finding stuff here and there, that I did not even know they produced. The catalogs seem to be non-existent, so alot of my knowledge is limited to that information that is in the one and only actual catalog I own, and then the scattered magazine ads and occasional articles in all of the old mags. Here it is, backwards tires and all ( I flipped them around immediately after I realized what I had done, but have not taken new pictures yet) the Hot Trick Stuff Red Prince:
As Jay will most certainly attest, these parts are more often found as unknown parts, in a box of junk, that the seller generally does not even realize what he has. Hardly ever do I find my stuff listed on ebay as Hot Trick, it is more by luck than anything, and half of the time, it is simply being the first to use the BIN function.

man, i freaking dig the red prince frog...
the frog was my first rc, and my mom was too poor to get me a radio for it. but i still had alot of fun just trickle charging the pack and setting the msc to full on and just letting that car rip around on its own. tough little car...
i got a mint original release frog 5-6 years ago that i bought off a chick at work for 150 bucks. it was sealed in box and perfect, and once i found out tamiya was re-releasing the frog i really didnt have a problem opening that sucker up and building it.
the smell of tamiya thread lock REALLY brought me back.

back then i think i was just too young to understand the changes and feelings going on in my body...
heres the one i built. the tamiya threadlock supplied in the kit was so old it had crystalized, and i had to be VERY carefull with the balloons since they were very old and tore real easy if i was rough on them. nothing exciting, just a plain jane frog.
btw, i moved this to the non-rc10 section simply because its non-rc10.

Yep, we can testify to this: I spotted a chassis on an ebay lot just recently. Turned out some other folks saw it too and were looking to get it for their Yok, but Jay pointed out it was this red prince chassis.
I have some other red anodised part for which I'm not sure if it is, or not, HT. It's an adapter to go from the Kyosho cone to hotshot style wheels.
Do you have this in your catalog?
I also have the HT ultima rear arms (standard; not trailing type) but miss the spacers and screws. Do you have some trick to get them back in action?

Mr ed those are hubs for a hotshot that uses Grisom wheels. as for your HT ultima arms, I have a nib set rear set. I would be willing to trade them for your hubs if you have four of them.

Hello Jim,
I've never heard of Grisom wheels, do you have some pics or link?
I attached a pic showing how I think these hub adapters are meant to be used. Axle is standard ultima, wheel is standard hotshot
(The wheel in the top left is You-G and has a similar offset as standard kyosho wheels but Tamiya backside.)
I don't mind getting rid of these hub adapters but I only have 2 and am not interested in the HT arm set. (The car looks kinda silly with only this option from HT and I don't plan to start collecting HT)
If you are interested in trading for something else, send me a PM or mail.
We 'll work something out no prob.

reviving an old subject here:
http://www93.sakura.ne.jp/~time-tunnel/07-4-29-3.html
2 hot trick conversions on this page I've never seen on this site.
Not sure what the back side of the first one is, front is rc10 obviously but 4wd , MIP?
second car is a hot shot or boomerang on another page.
