your buggy looks to be an early championship edition with the 6gear trans. and it is in very good shape besides the hackjob in the pan for the battery wire to come out...

Actually it seems to be one of the last six-gear championship editions. Note the black shock caps, six-hole front tower, TQ22/TQ72 tires... Possibly factory drilled for Stealth "B" chassis.
Thankyou Erik! Im looking forward to the big day but also looking forward to when it is all done and said. It can be a little stressful planning a wedding at times....and then there's the cost to go with it! Sheesh!!

Been there , done that, know what you mean.
I had the pleasure of organizing everything myself as my wife was still living with her parents = in japan and the wedding was in my homecountry: Belgium.
I guess getting married brings legitimacy to our hobby. Being single trying to explain this stuff to girls over a drink in a bar just doesn't work (not that Ive tried). But being in a legitimate relationship allows room for the excuse of how much our kids will love this stuff-ha ha ha
Give it time, after 7 years of marriage and 12 being together, I think my wife has finally realized questioning, arguing over, getting mad, etc. about the obessesion doesn't do any good......... which is good for me, now.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike. www.gojammedia.com

Looking good.
The link in the bottom of your post doesn't work for me.
Do i need to subscribe first?
You will find lots of beetles on the forum both on the rc10 and other chassis.
I have a new parma one waiting for me to pick which car it will go on.
I have run another parma beetle for too many years and it's without doubt the strongest body you can get.
yeh I've just noticed the link isn't working. They have had lots of hackers on that Super Beetles website & u have to log in to see anything ta all.
This link will give u some idea what it's about.

nah only have dish ones, I think the only other style available is the HPI star ones[/quote]
Those HPI 2.2 inch star wheels are proving to be the hens teeth of the RC world in Australia. I think I have 2 more hobby stores to call in Melbourne & then I have exhausted all avenues.

Looks great man, love the blue chassis with black parts.
Hello, all,
I’ve lurked this forum for a few years and decided to register in order to access more of the content here. In particular, I look forward to the buy/sell forums, as a regret I have is letting go of my rc10 worlds car years ago. Also, I...

Welcome Patrick, looking forward to your race report with your 91 stealth/nix car. Post some pics of your build. Seeing members building them never gets old :D
I am new to this site. just starting to look around and getting good info. I have pulled 2 old rc cars that have not seen action in over 20 years. I have a gold pan RC10 and a blackfoot truck that I am going to see if i can get them back to...

that is good starting point, but you can get anything that is advertised for 1/10th and off road and you will be ok.
Ive been using these hobbywing escs for a while with the green tacon motors.
This thing still looks good and runs great. I know I will need to get new batteries, only runs for like 3 minutes then dies. What are good ones to get.
I can remember when there was a resistor plate that got mounted for the hot resistor....and the four extra AA batteries for the servos were needed....geez
Hey guys- I've been out of rc for a while now. All my old build posts here with the kids are probably junk with the PhotoBucket BS, as are all my scans of parts lists and tire charts. My daughter is now married and my son has moved out with his...
