This is was my main car that was used for racing back in the day.

The way I left it many many years ago. Most of the parts were borrowed to be used in my Jr-X2

I decided to move the shock tower forward to bring more of the weight to the front of the car.

I plan to get wider a-arms for the rear, if not I will change the angle of the shocks.

Now I need to make a list of new parts and make an order soon. :P

good starting point ,but you really should add something to reduce flex and nose tubes to keep that nosepiece straight. It looks like it took some beating and folded back quite a bit already. Or maybe you went for an extreme kick-up :P

That might be a result of the front screws not being tight on the nose peice . I just wanted to see how everything fit. Turns out I need to try and move the shock tower forward to fit the body.

Moved the shocktower around to fit the body.

The wheelbase is 1" longer over stock.

you better check the regulations on wheelbase if you plan to enter it in races.
Looks still ok to me, but it's hard to tell from pictures.
shortening it should be easy enough on the front side.

What battery configuration will you go for?

Very interesting, certainly an unique ride.

Intriguing combination, mid engine for quicker response, but with a long chassis and apparently a lot of front kick up, which would tend to make it more stable/less responsive. Would love to see this run, please keep us updated. Cheers.
