OK lexan gurus, what is this? It came with a JRXT I snagged a while back, but def not a Losi body.

I'm thinking Kyosho?????

That's the McAllister Toyota SR5 body. One of my favorites!!

does gary still produce that body, or could he still pull them? anybody know?

how does it sit on the jrxt chassis? are the sides of the body between thew tires low enough to cover the chassis?

should i ask more questions? maybe? :lol: :lol:

Yes, he still has the ability to sell them. You need to email him though cause he doesnt sell them on his ebay shop so I'm guessing he has the mold but none pulled.

Unfortunately no, it will not go down low enough to be level with the chassis. It sits about where the stock JRXT body sits, the front body mount limiting how far it can go down. You can use the LXT front body mount to lower it more.

There is a guy on rccrawler.com that sells this body, a Nissan hardbody, the Ivan stewart toyota, and some other... I believe all McAllister bodies. I will get the link for you tomorrow, it's on my work PC. I bought one of the Ivan stewart bodies for a JRXT project I'm working on. Got it direct from McA. However they weren't to helpful with the others I mentioned above...?

I used this same body on my Optima back in the 80s. It's one of my favorites too.
