Check my A&L RC10....

Post by Brandon G »

All I need is to find the right body without having to cut the rear end of it all to pieces.

I'm thinking a Bolink Funco ought to do it....

Hope you enjoy.

Very sweet 8)

Would it be good to have a dedicated A&L thread where they can all be posted together for comparison :?: , between the members there must be every possible variation. Maybe a separate reference sticky for each of the most popular conversions  :?:

Very nice! I like it. I too was wondering about the strenght of the nose plate + chassis. I think it does ok, but one project on the table for me is adding nose tubes onto mine.

Very good to meet you too, Jay. We ended up getting rained out right at the start of the mains. Bummer.

If I were racing this car, I would definetly add some tubes, but as it sits, it probably wont see much use. So, I dont think I will be drilling any holes in the plate. The GT RTR standoffs would be my choice, as they are aluminum and also polishable, vice the black plastic ones. I do have a Comp. Craft front nose I was toying around with to swap the gold nose piece out, but it would leave a tremendous step on the bottom where the FRP begins. So I think the aluminum will stay.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!
